Rocket League Collector’s Edition Physical Release Announced for Nintendo Switch; Coming January 16, 2018

Rocket League fans wont have to wait much longer for a physical release of the title.

Psyonix has just announced that they will be releasing a physical version of Rocket League on the Nintendo Switch. This is great news for collectors looking to add another amazing Switch game to their shelves.

The physical release of Rocket League will have staggered release dates which can seen below:

  • January 16 for North America
  • January 24 for Australia and New Zealand
  • January 25 for Central Europe
  • January 26 for remaining Europe, Israel, Middle East, Russia, and South Africa (players in Europe should contact their local retailer for availability details)

Since this is the Collector’s Edition, players can expect more content than the base game. Here is whats included in the package:

  • Rocket League Full Game

  • Supersonic Fury DLC Pack

  • Revenge of the Battle-Cars DLC Pack

  • Chaos Run DLC Pack

  • Aftershock DLC Car

  • Marauder DLC Car

  • Esper DLC Car

  • Masamune DLC Car

  • Customization Items inspired by DC Comics’ The Flash

  • Limited Art Print by Psyonix Concept Artist, Jay Zhang

Rocket League Collector’s Edition will be priced at $39.99, which is $10 higher than its PS4 and Xbox One versions. This is due to the increased cost of manufacturing Nintendo Switch cartridges. Lastly, Psyonix shared the final box art for the Collector’s Edition, and boy does it look sweet!

Rocket League is currently available on the Nintendo Switch digitally. The collector’s Edition will see a physical release on January 16, 2018 in North America.
